Scratch Paper Holder

I tend to waste a lot of paper from printed documents that I no longer need. I'm ashame to admit that I'm not really conscious in recycling but now and again I'll have some fleeting moments of guilt for being wasteful. So, I created this scratch paper holder to be more conscious and stop throwing paper than can still be used. It initiated the idea of creating more of this holder to organize my card stock scraps. I haven't done them yet but that will be my next project. I'm sure that some of you will come up with ideas on other uses for this holder. I just want to motivate everyone to be organized. I'd love to see what you come up with.

The design is actually a brochure holder but I made it just small enough to hold 1/4 size of the 8 1/2" x 11" copy paper. It's 5 3/4 - H x 4 1/2 -W.

  1. Great idea. Helps with the organizing & also looks so much better than a pile of scraps laying round. I need to get organized myself.
PS - love your craft room.

  2. I think your craft room is great. I have been trying to think of some way to keep scrap paper at work. We have so much wasted paper that we began cutting the pages in quarters like you do. But, having it just lay on the desk is bothersome. I love your idea.

  3. I love this idea. I have been looking for a way to do this. Is this your file or only on silhouette? If it's yours, may I have the file?
