My Take On The Stepper Card

Finally, I was able to try the very popular stepper card. I'm actually very late in catching up with this design. I compiled all the instructions and tutorials on this design a long time ago but I kept on delaying the project. The first batch that I made were done manually which was very time consuming. So I thought of creating a template in the Silhouette Studio. Success!!! The next batch of stepper cards were created in no time at all. Since I created this template without the use of any of Silhouette's design, I think it is safe for me to share this with anyone wishing to have it so feel free to indicate your request on your comment below if want to have the template.

The card (folded) measures 5" high and 6" wide. I used 6" x 12" card stock (cut from 12" x 12"). On the template, the base of the card is "no cut" as I maximized the whole 6" x 12" material. This means that you need to position your card stock on your cutting mat (carrier sheet) EXACTLY as you see it on your drawing area or virtual mat (carrier sheet) on your screen in Studio. Make sure to adjust your "Reveal carrier sheet" on the PAGE window (red square icon on the menu) to reveal the virtual mat. It's critical to position your card stock accurately on the carrier sheet so that the perforations for the mountain and valley folds, including the cuts, will fall exactly where they should be.

The Birthday Wishes and Birthday Greetings sentiments are my own creations made from fonts that I already have in my fonts folder. Again, I should be able to share the cutting files with anyone wishing to have them. The base of the "Birthdays gives us..." is a rounded oval I made and welded a flourish design from the Silhouette store. Similarly, the pocket is a combination of designs from the Silhouette store that I welded together. So I won't be able to share these. I used K & Company paper pad on the first card and DCWV on the second and third card
