Triple Easel Card - Wedding Card For Lu and Kim

My youngest niece, Lu (Lualhati), who I still fondly call Ati, got married to her five-year fiance, Kim Chu last May 15, 2015 in San Francisco, California. What a great wedding date, 05-05-15. Yes, this a very late post! It will be their first wedding anniversary in a few days. As it was the most special event in her life, I wanted to make the most special card for her and Kim. I really struggled to come up with a special design concept and it took a lot of sample cutting before I finally settled with the triple easel card which I found on Pinterest. This is the most labor intensive card that I have created....talk about labor of love :-).

I'm still very new with manual die cutting and I instantly got hooked on it when I started  more than a year ago. There are gazillions of outrageously beautiful dies in the market which makes it so addictive. This wedding card gave me the chance to make good use of some of the dies in my collection. I used the 3 smallest dies of the Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circles for the base of the card. I used more than a dozen sets of dies on this card. The triple easel card looks daunting and seem very complicated to make but it was surprisingly easy as I followed the step-by-step instructions on the video. No wonder it became a craze a while back in the card-making community. You'll find a lot of card designs and video tutorials on the triple easel card.

The card laid flat with just the basic triple easel, without the embellishments and the extended out heart design framing the photo of the bride and groom measures 9" x 6".

Happy crafting!
