Spellbinders Card - Radiant Rectangle Birthday Card

I made this card for my friends Leila and Isabelita using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Radiant Rectangle die set. This card is pretty much the same as the previous card posted, Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle card. I also created an easel card base in Silhouette Studio using the offset image of the die and I used the same sentiment.

The same Memory Box Crochet Corner die was cut twice and used as a pocket for the message insert.

The beauty of using the Spellbinders Nestabilites is you don't really need to conceptualize the card design as the different layers of the die set already make up for the card design. All you need to do really is choose the paper, color and of course, the embellishment. I enhanced the vintage look of the card design using a shabby chic lace flower that I made and embellished it with a vintage button. I used the same box template that I created in Silhouette Studio for the Timeless Rectangle card posted prior. I cut 2 pieces of the Memory Box Madera Corner using the 2 colors of the card and layered them under the lace flower. Stunning effect if I may say so myself.

If you already have the Radiant Rectangle die set or if you wish to buy it and would like to make this card, I will gladly share the files for the easel card base, the sentiment and the box. Please note that I only share my files (for free) with my blog followers.

Spellbinders Card - Timeless Rectangle Birthday Card

I made this card for my friends Agnes, Celia and Jogry. I love the very mod color combination of pink and chocolate brown. Still going crazy with manual die cutting, I'm amazed with the number of dies that I have accumulated in the last 3 months, lots and lots! I'm having so much fun with all these beautiful dies. I fall in love with each die that I use which is enough inspiration to come up with a beautiful card. The intricacies of the cut and the beautiful embossing are just amazing.

I made an offset in Silhouette Studio of the largest die from the nestabilities set and created an easel card base for the card. I used the same offset image on the window of the matching box for the card.

I was not able to take photos of the dies used on the box:

Spellbinders Card - (Borderabilities) Curved Borders One Birthday Card

I made this card for my nieces Diwata and Finina and my friend Beatrice. This is actually a very simple basic three-fold card elegantly enhanced by the flower nicely bunched on top of a very beautiful Memory Box die, Cluster of Carnations, and the embossed background using the Cuttlebug embossing folder by Anna Griffin, Wildflower Gate. The very nice Spellbinders border from the Borderabilities Curved Borders One added to the simple elegance of the card along with the very rare Marianne Design Anja's label used for the Happy Birthday sentiment which I had difficulty creating in Silhouette Studio to fit the label perfectly. I created a pocket from the first fold of the card for the message insert which I created in Silhouette Studio tracing the outline of the same Memory Box Cluster of Carnations die used on the front of the card and on the matching box.

I created two color versions of the card, one is a very subtle blending of the ink used, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye. Using the same color of ink, I made another card with a much darker blending of the ink making it so much more pronounced. I used my new favorite Judikins Color Dusters. They are so easy to use and as I mentioned in my previous card post, the brush is so forgiving, no worries of smudges.

For my blog followers who are interested in the box template and who happen to own the Marianne Design Anja Labels set and would like the Happy Birthday sentiment, just indicate your request on your comment. I can also include the customized message insert.
