The Silhouette SD Machine
I waited for more than 2 years before I eventually decided on the Silhouette SD machine. I did a thorough research on the various digital cutting machines and I was overwhelmed with the ton of information that I found online. I initially liked the Cricut machine by PrvoCraft but I hated the idea of having to spend more $$$ on the cartridges. It will be just like an endless purchase of rubber stamps in which it will never be enough as you would always want something new practically every time you create a new card. I strongly preferred the concept of buying individual designs at a minimal cost and having the flexibility of being able to redesign, resize, weld, and do a whole lot more on the design and its elements. The program of the Silhouette also allows you to make your own designs. The possibilities on what you can do with the program and the machine are limitless! It's truly amazing! For me, it's simply the best personal digital cutting machine.
I've been looking for a cover for my Silhouette to protect it from dust but couldn't find any online. The only covers I see available are for the Cricut and other machines which have different sizes than the Silhouette. I'm a pretty good sewer so I thought of creating one and I ended up with a neat cover that serves the purpose and really looks nice in my craft room :). It actually inspired me to start the business of selling them. I'll be posting the different colors next week.
