Spellbinders Card - Radiant Rectangle Birthday Card

I made this card for my friends Leila and Isabelita using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Radiant Rectangle die set. This card is pretty much the same as the previous card posted, Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle card. I also created an easel card base in Silhouette Studio using the offset image of the die and I used the same sentiment.

The same Memory Box Crochet Corner die was cut twice and used as a pocket for the message insert.

The beauty of using the Spellbinders Nestabilites is you don't really need to conceptualize the card design as the different layers of the die set already make up for the card design. All you need to do really is choose the paper, color and of course, the embellishment. I enhanced the vintage look of the card design using a shabby chic lace flower that I made and embellished it with a vintage button. I used the same box template that I created in Silhouette Studio for the Timeless Rectangle card posted prior. I cut 2 pieces of the Memory Box Madera Corner using the 2 colors of the card and layered them under the lace flower. Stunning effect if I may say so myself.

If you already have the Radiant Rectangle die set or if you wish to buy it and would like to make this card, I will gladly share the files for the easel card base, the sentiment and the box. Please note that I only share my files (for free) with my blog followers.

Happy crafting!

  7. Gayle, Your cards are a work of art. Anyone who receives them must cherish them.
The file would be appreciated but I also have another request. Some time ago you posted about a lady who has figured out how to take the blade housing apart for cleaning. Any of the sites I have gone to say the video is private. I wonder if you have an updated one?
